titleOfInvention System and method for assessing patient health
abstract Embodiments herein include medical systems, devices and methods for assessing the health of a patient. In one embodiment, a method comprises using a plurality of graphene sensors to assess the presence of volatile organic compounds in a patient's exhaled or gas sample to generate volatile organic compound data. The sensor includes steps including sensors specific to different volatile organic compounds. The method may further include collecting data regarding the patient's sympathetic activity. The method may further include combining the volatile organic compound data with the collected data regarding the sympathetic nerve activity of the patient to form a composite data set. The method may further include the step of matching the composite data set against one or more data patterns to find the best match, the best match being indicative of the health of the patient. Other embodiments are also included herein.
