The uncured microparticles do not contain a photoinduced crosslinking agent. The method of forming the scaffolding material includes providing microparticles that include a three-dimensional array of poly(glycerol sebacate). The method also includes stimulating the three-dimensional array of particles to sinter the particles, thereby forming a scaffolding material having a plurality of pores. The scaffolding material is formed from a plurality of microparticles containing a three-dimensional arrangement of poly(glycerol sebacate) thermosetting resin.
