titleOfInvention | Judgment of sample concentration of physiological fluid with interfering substances |
abstract | Systems and methods for determining the concentration of an analyte in a physiological fluid are provided. A test voltage is applied between the first electrode and the second electrode of the biosensor. The first electrode contains a reagent and the second electrode is not coated with the reagent. Reagents are selected to react with the analyte but not interferents. First and second current values are measured at the first and second electrodes, respectively, during first and second time periods after application of the test voltage. The first and second current parameters are determined by taking the sum of the current values and subtracting a factor that depends on at least one of the current values. The analyte concentration is determined as a function of the ratio of the first current parameter and the second current parameter. [Selection diagram] Fig. 7A |
