How to assay proteins |
abstract |
Provided herein are methods and systems for identifying proteins in a sample. Obtain a panel of antibodies, none of which is specific to just one protein or to just one protein family. In addition, the binding properties of the antibodies in the panel are determined. In addition, the protein is repeatedly exposed to a panel of antibodies. In addition, the set of antibodies that bind this protein is determined. To match a set of antibodies with the sequence of a protein, one or more deconvolution methods based on the known binding properties of the antibody are used to determine the identity of this protein. |
