Sustained analyte monitoring electrodes using cross-linked enzymes |
abstract |
The present invention relates to an enzyme electrode comprising a conductive surface, wherein a complex comprising at least one enzyme molecule is covalently bonded to the conductive surface. The electrodes are suitable for continuous analyte monitoring, especially continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) using glucose oxidase (GOD) as the enzyme molecule. Furthermore, the invention relates to an electrochemical sensor comprising an enzyme electrode for measuring the concentration of an analyte, for example glucose, under in vivo conditions. |
