titleOfInvention Stable liquid composition containing botulinum toxin
abstract The present invention relates to a stable liquid composition comprising a ready-to-use botulinum toxin as an active ingredient without having to go through a reconstitution step, and particularly to a low-concentration botulinum toxin-containing composition. In addition to preventing the botulinum toxin from aggregating, the botulinum toxin does not only exhibit high stability, but also efficiently prevent adsorption to the container, thereby preventing the botulinum toxin from being separated by batch or liquid vial. The present invention relates to a liquid composition capable of maintaining a constant activity, specifically, (i) a botulinum toxin as an active ingredient, (ii) L-alanine or methylcellulose, (iii) a nonionic surfactant, and ( iv) a liquid composition comprising a buffer and optionally a tonicity agent. Since the liquid composition of the botulinum toxin according to the present invention is in a form that can be used immediately without having to go through a rehydration process, not only the convenience of the user is improved, but also due to dilution errors in the rehydration process. Botulinum toxin activity deviation and the like can be reduced. Further, the liquid composition according to the present invention efficiently prevents aggregation of botulinum toxin even at a low botulinum toxin concentration, and has extremely excellent storage stability.By efficiently preventing adsorption of botulinum toxin to a container, There is an advantage that the activity of the botulinum toxin can be kept constant by batch or by liquid vial.
