PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biodegradable internal artificial organ and a method for producing the same. The present disclosure provides a biodegradable implantable device such as a stent containing a biodegradable polymer, wherein the polymer material is treated to adjust crystallinity and / or Tg. The stent can be expanded from the folded shape to the unfolded diameter at body temperature and is strong enough to support the body lumen. In one aspect of the invention, improved biodegradable internal prostheses and methods of making them are provided.
