abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for alleviating the symptoms of interstitial cystitis, which can be easily and for a long period of time in daily life. SOLUTION: The composition for alleviating the symptoms of interstitial cystitis contains a fermented product obtained by fermenting a squeezed juice or an extract of germinated buckwheat buds as an active ingredient. The fermented product preferably contains quercetin in an amount of 1 mg / 100 g or more and keracetin in an amount of 0.1 mg / 100 g or more in the solid content. Further, it is preferable that the solid content contains 10 mg / 100 g or more of polyphenol. Further, the pH is preferably in the range of pH 2.5 to 5. Further, the fermentation of the fermented product is preferably by inoculating the juice or extract with lactic acid bacteria.
