abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and surely confirm that a coating agent is surely applied twice in an elastic sealing material provided with two coating layers, which is continuously molded by extrusion molding. SOLUTION: An elastic sealing material 1 having a long and same cross-sectional shape is provided with a two-layer coating layer CL composed of a lower coating layer 2 and an upper coating layer 3 in a region including a sliding surface S. The lower coating layer 2 has an exposed portion 4 exposed from the edge of the upper coating layer 3 continuously in the longitudinal direction of the elastic sealing material 1. At least one of the lower coating layer 2 and the upper coating layer 3 contains a fluorescent agent. In the manufacturing process in which the elastic sealing material 1 is continuously molded by extrusion molding, ultraviolet rays are applied to the boundary portion E between the exposed portion 4 and the upper coating layer 3 of the lower coating layer 2 of the elastic sealing material 1 with a UV light 6. While emitting light from the fluorescent agent, the image captured by the CCD camera 7 is image-processed to determine the presence or absence of the light emission. [Selection diagram] Fig. 6 |
