PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition having excellent workability and good fuel economy performance. SOLUTION: The rubber composition contains a rubber component, an additive and a filler, and the additive contains at least one atom selected from the group consisting of a silicon atom, a nitrogen atom and an oxygen atom, and a carbon atom. The total number of silicon atoms, nitrogen atoms, and oxygen atoms that contain the compound and constitute the compound is 0.27 or more and 0.80 or less with respect to the number of carbon atoms, and the Hansen solubility parameter of the compound is represented by the following formula (2).
