abstract | 【Task】 Provided are vinyl aromatic hydrocarbon-based polymers, polymer compositions and molded articles in which low molecular weight polymers are reduced and have an expanded molecular weight distribution. SOLUTION: An anion polymer A1 in which a monomer containing a vinyl aromatic hydrocarbon is anionically polymerized by a polymerization initiator containing a bifunctional polymerization initiator as a main component, and the anion polymer A1 are cupped by a bifunctional coupling agent. In a vinyl aromatic hydrocarbon-based polymer containing a ringed anion polymer A2, the anion polymer A1 and the anion weight are measured by the gel permission chromatography method and obtained by a number average molecular weight curve obtained in terms of polystyrene. The area ratio of the anion polymer A2 to the total area of the combined A2 is 40% or more, and the area ratio of the polymer having a number average molecular weight of 500,000 or more is 15% or more. As a result, the low molecular weight polymer is reduced, and a polymer having an expanded molecular weight distribution is obtained. [Selection diagram] None |
