abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a high-purity bistrifluoromethanesulfonylimide salt having excellent properties. SOLUTION: A step S1 for producing a corresponding N-alkyl substituted bistrifluoromethanesulfonylimide using a primary amine and trifluoromethanesulfonic anhydride is reacted with an N-alkyl substituted bistrifluoromethanesulfonylimide and a salt. The production method comprises step S2 for obtaining a crude product and step S3 for obtaining a bistrifluoromethanesulfonylimide salt by crystallizing the crude product and drying it in a vacuum.
