abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a traffic amount by preventing flooding. A communication device is one of a communication device group constituting a ring network defined by a ring protocol, and a MAC for a first virtual network in which user frames are transmitted / received within the ring network. The first transfer destination information that can register the combination of the address and the port number, and the second transfer destination information that can register the combination of the MAC address and the port number for the second virtual network to which the user frame is transmitted and received in the ring network. When the storage unit having, and the virtual network of the operating system are switched from the first virtual network to the second virtual network, the transfer destination information applied to the virtual network of the operating system is the first transfer destination information.
