abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fiber focusing agent having high fiber bundle focusing property and high fiber opening property. SOLUTION: The sizing agent for fibers containing an alkylene oxide adduct (A) of an aliphatic amine (a) having 5 to 22 carbon atoms, wherein the aliphatic amine (a) has 5 to 22 carbon atoms. The average number of moles of alkylene oxide added to the alkylene oxide adduct (A) is 4 to 60, and the content of ethyleneoxy groups in the polyalkyleneoxy group of the alkylene oxide adduct (A) is polyalkyleneoxy.
