abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate a back electromotive force in a motor generator if the motor generator continues to rotate after an abnormality occurs in the inverter. When an abnormality occurs in an inverter, a first clutch that switches between transmission and non-transmission of rotational torque between an internal combustion engine and a motor generator is set in a connected state, and rotation between a drive source and drive wheels is performed. The second clutch that switches between transmission and non-transmission of torque is set to the non-engaged state. As a result, the counter electromotive force generated in the motor generator also decreases relatively quickly as the rotation speed of the motor generator decreases relatively quickly.
