abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for treating ballast water which can be operated while a ship is moving. At least one ballast tank, at least one mixing nozzle, a treatment unit including an electrolytic chlorine generation module and a dechlorination treatment module, and a dosing module connected to the treatment unit. A ballast water treatment system comprising a dispensing module and a control system. Ballast water is introduced into at least one ballast tank arranged on the ship, at least a part of the ballast water is circulated between the at least one ballast tank and the dosing module, and the electrolytic chlorine generation module and the dechlorination treatment module are installed. A method of treating ballast water that produces a disinfectant via a treatment unit including and supplies the disinfectant from the treatment unit to the circulating ballast water of a dosing module.
