Time-dependent synthetic biological barrier material |
abstract |
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermally stable electrospan barrier. SOLUTION: A thermally stable absorptive fiber group that does not undergo thermally induced crystallization is mixed and does not change the morphological characteristics of the thermally unstable first fiber system. A stable fiber 1 is obtained. The addition of the stabilizing fiber population minimizes thermally induced shrinkage and maintains the physical properties of the electrospun material in the as-formed state. A medical barrier material is formed from the electrospun material to improve the therapeutic medical barrier. [Selection diagram] Figure 1 |
