In the present invention, a positive electrode active material for a lithium secondary battery has a high lithium ion conductivity and a high lithium ion conductivity due to a lithium ion diffusion path that exhibits directionality in primary particles and secondary particles. Not only that, even if charge and discharge are repeated, the crystal structure is not easily collapsed and the cycle characteristics are improved. The present invention relates to a positive electrode active material for a lithium secondary battery and a lithium secondary battery including the same, and more particularly, to a lithium ion diffusion path in a primary particle and a secondary particle.
