abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily recognize a variable display mode of a large symbol object in a variable display game on a game machine. In a gaming machine, a plurality of large symbol objects include a first large symbol object and a second large symbol object whose variable display mode is different from that of the first large symbol object, and the variable display game is variable. Including a high-speed variable display period in which the fluctuation speed of the large symbol object is faster than the period immediately after the start of the display game, the display control means displays the variable display of the small symbol objects together with the variable display of the large symbol objects on the display device. In the high-speed variable display period, the period during which the second large symbol object is continuously displayed in the same manner is set shorter than the period during which the first large symbol object is continuously displayed in the same manner, and the small symbol objects are the same.
