abstract An image is further captured in a solid-state imaging device that detects the presence or absence of an address event. A solid-state image sensor includes a detection pixel and a counting pixel. In this solid-state image sensor, the detection pixel detects whether or not a predetermined address event has occurred depending on whether or not the amount of change in the amount of incident light exceeds a predetermined threshold value. Further, the counting pixel in the solid-state image sensor counts the number of photons incident within a predetermined exposure period when an address event occurs, and outputs a pixel signal indicating the count value.
