titleOfInvention | Method for producing inorganic platinum compound |
abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an inorganic platinum compound which is safe and reduces environmental load by avoiding the use of chlorine gas, aqua regia, or hydrogen peroxide in the process. SOLUTION: Step (A): a step of preparing a platinum material and a halogen-containing oxidizing agent, and step (B): a step of treating the platinum material with the halogen-containing oxidizing agent in an aqueous hydrochloric acid solution to obtain an inorganic platinum compound. The inorganic platinum compound contains chloroplatinic acid or chloroplatinate, and the halogen-containing oxidizing agent is other than chlorine gas. For example, when a solution of hydroiodic acid, hydrochloric acid and water is added to a mixture of platinum powder and concentrated hydrochloric acid aqueous solution, and the mixture is heated and reacted, concentrated under reduced pressure and cooled, crystals of chloroplatinic acid hexahydrate are collected. The rate is over 99%. [Selection diagram] None |
