PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mix with both a main agent part (painting resin part) for coating materials and a curing agent part (curing agent part) while maintaining a drying time or compatibility of a diluent level containing conventional nonylphenol or dodecylphenol. Provided is an additive composition in which discoloration that occurs when mixed with a curing agent for paint is suppressed, and a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: First compound 40-100 parts by weight produced by reaction of phenolic compound and heat-resistant styrene compound; 2-10 parts by weight of second compound produced by reaction of phenolic compound and styrene compound. A phenolic compound, a heat-resistant styrene compound, and a third compound produced by reacting a styrene compound 2 to 20 parts by weight; and a mixture of trimethylphenylindane and diphenylmethylpentene 2 to 10 parts by weight; A characteristic additive composition.
