abstract | An object of the present invention is to provide an image forming method capable of forming a decorative image having excellent image durability in which decorative powder is not easily peeled off. An image forming method of the present invention is an image forming method of supplying a decorating powder to a surface of a resin image layer formed on a recording medium and fixing the powder. When the constituent components of the resin image layer are measured by gel permeation chromatography (GPC), the molecular weight distribution curve has peaks in the range of 100 to less than 2500 and in the range of 2500 to 30,000.
