abstract An object of the present invention is to provide an assembling method capable of easily fixing members. An assembling method according to the present invention includes connecting one end having an opening, the other end facing the one end, and one end to the other end, and forming an annular shape with a first outer diameter. A first cylindrical member having a first peripheral wall portion having an outer peripheral surface defined is prepared, and an installation surface on which one end is installed, and a ring protruding from the installation surface, formed in an annular shape, and having a first outer diameter larger than the first outer diameter. A second peripheral wall having an inner peripheral surface defined by a larger second inner diameter. According to the assembling method of the present invention, one end of the first member is installed on the installation surface of the second member so that the first peripheral wall is located inside the second peripheral wall, and the other end faces toward the installation surface. The first member is fixed to the second member by applying a load to the first member, expanding a part of the first peripheral wall in the outer diameter direction, and bringing a part of the outer peripheral surface into contact with the inner peripheral surface.
