abstract | Provided is a method for manufacturing a solid electrolytic capacitor that exhibits excellent withstand voltage characteristics and low leakage current characteristics, and further has high moisture and heat resistance. SOLUTION: A pretreatment liquid obtained by diluting a phosphate ester compound to a predetermined concentration with a solvent is subjected to a treatment for holding on a valve action metal having a dielectric oxide film formed thereon, and then a conductive film is formed on the valve action metal. By forming a solid electrolyte made of a conductive polymer, it is possible to provide a solid electrolytic capacitor which exhibits excellent withstand voltage characteristics and low leakage current characteristics, and has remarkably excellent durability and moisture resistance.
