abstract An abnormality detection device for a battery temperature sensor that can detect a battery temperature sensor separated from a secondary battery is provided. When an ambient temperature around a battery module is set as a reference temperature, a battery ECU compares the temperature measured by each of the first to third battery temperature sensors with the reference temperature and determines the first to third temperatures. It is determined that the battery temperature sensor that measures the temperature at which the difference from the reference temperature is equal to or less than the threshold value among the temperatures measured by the respective battery temperature sensors is separated from the secondary battery.
