abstract | An object of the present invention is to provide a low-viscosity thermosetting resin composition which can realize low dielectric properties, high heat resistance, low elastic modulus and low water absorption as characteristics of a cured product. A (B) bismaleimide resin obtained by reacting (A) a thermosetting resin, dimer diamine which is a diamine derived from dimer acid, and maleic anhydride, and (C) polymerization initiation And (D) at least one of a curing accelerator, wherein the (A) thermosetting resin is a dimer diamine derived from dimer acid, a dimer diamine, a tetracarboxylic dianhydride, and a maleic anhydride. A thermosetting resin composition containing (A1) a bismaleimide resin having a specific structure, which is obtained by reacting the above, with 80 to 100% by mass based on the total amount of the (A) thermosetting resin.
