titleOfInvention Black toner
abstract An object of the present invention is to provide a black toner which is excellent in heat-resistant storage stability, low-temperature fixability and color-forming property and hardly adheres to a photosensitive drum. The black toner of the present invention contains toner particles. The toner particles include a toner core containing a release agent having a carboxy group, a shell layer that partially covers the surface of the toner core, and magnetic particles that adhere to portions of the toner core surface that are not covered by the shell layer. Prepare. At least a part of the surface of the magnetic particles is exposed from the shell layer, and protrudes radially outward of the toner core from the surface of the shell layer. The content of the magnetic particles is 0.1 parts by mass or more and 1.5 parts by mass or less based on 100 parts by mass of the toner core. The shell layer contains a shell resin having an unopened oxazoline group. The content ratio of the unopened oxazoline group is 490 μmol / g or more and 1,500 μmol / g or less. The endothermic amount resulting from the melting of the release agent is from 80 mJ / mg to 160 mJ / mg. [Selection diagram] Fig. 1
