abstract | Provided is a gaming machine capable of suppressing a decrease in amusement of amusement due to a change in out-of-game. A game machine capable of playing a game, comprising: a game control means for controlling the progress of the game; and a performance execution means capable of performing a performance, wherein the game control means performs a variable display. When a special display result (for example, a small hit symbol) is derived and displayed as a display result of the variable display, it can be controlled to a special state (for example, a small hit game state) in which a game value (for example, a prize ball) can be given, and the effect is executed. The means can execute a corresponding effect (for example, an effect including a decorative pattern) in response to the variable display, and can display a special display (for example, a combination of decorative patterns indicating a small hit) related to the special state, and can respond to the special display result. The ratio of executing the corresponding effect is lower in the variable display that is not performed (for example, variation in out-of-position) than in the variable display corresponding to the special display result (for example, variation in small hit).
