abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide cerium-containing delta-type manganese dioxide oxide particles having excellent adsorption performance, oxidation performance, and moldability for environmental purification and a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: Cerium is contained in a metal molar ratio of 3% or more and 25% or less, a crystal structure is a delta type, a BET specific surface area is 50 m 2 / g or more and 150 m 2 / g or less, and an average particle diameter is 3 μm or more.
