abstract | An object of the present invention is to provide an article having low adherence of bacterial cells, which is hardly adhered by bacterial cells and has a wide material selectivity, and a method for preventing bacterial cell adhesion. The surface has a fine uneven structure having a cycle smaller than 5 times the size of a bacterial body, the surface on the side of the fine uneven structure is water-repellent or hydrophilic, and the fine uneven structure has curability.
