titleOfInvention | Water-based ink, ink cartridge, and inkjet recording method |
abstract | An object of the present invention is to provide an ink ejected by a thermal method, in which the ejection stability of the ink can be enhanced to suppress the unevenness of the image, and the image can be recorded with high image clarity. A water-based ink used in an ink jet recording method for recording an image on a recording medium by discharging ink from a recording head by the action of thermal energy. This aqueous ink contains carbon black, a resin dispersant for dispersing the carbon black, a first urethane resin, a second urethane resin, and a nonionic fluorine-based surfactant. Both the first urethane resin and the second urethane resin have a unit derived from polyether polyol. The weight average molecular weight Mw 1 of the first urethane resin is 0.2 to 0.8 times the weight average molecular weight Mw 2 of the second urethane resin, and the weight average molecular weight of the second urethane resin is Mw 2 is 20,000 or more and 70,000 or less.
