abstract |
A spectrometer is provided that can be configured to perform a field analysis of a chemical property of a material. The spectrometer includes at least one sensor configured to monitor Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR) and at least another sensor configured to monitor Raman Spectroscopy. The spectrometer may include a set of instructions accessible to the user for changing the sampling configuration of the spectrometer. Also provided is a method of using a spectrometer to determine the predominant composition of a sample by at least two techniques. [Selection diagram] Fig. 1 |
