abstract | Provided is a toner capable of suppressing a change in charge amount while securing a charge amount suitable for image formation. The toner includes toner particles. The toner particles 10 include toner base particles 11 and an external additive attached to the toner base particles 11. The external additive includes first resin particles 12 having a number average primary particle diameter of 30 nm or more and 50 nm or less, and second resin particles 13 having a number average primary particle diameter of 80 nm or more and 135 nm or less. The first resin particles 12 and the second resin particles 13 include a buried portion and a protruding portion. The maximum length of the immersed part and L A, when the maximum length of the projecting portion and the L B, satisfy the relationship of 0.30 ≦ L A / (L A + L B) ≦ 0.60. The total mass of the first resin particles 12 and the second resin particles 13 is 0.5 parts by mass or more and 1.5 parts by mass or less based on 100 parts by mass of the toner base particles 11. The ratio of the mass of the second resin particles 13 to the mass of the first resin particles 12 is 1.0 or more and 4.0 or less. [Selection diagram] Fig. 1 |
