abstract An object of the present invention is to provide a phosphor wheel capable of accurately sensing a rotational position of the phosphor wheel and improving synchronization detection. A phosphor wheel includes a substrate made of aluminum with a phosphor ring bonded to one surface with an adhesive layer. A rotor 107 and a stator 108 are provided on the other surface of the substrate 103 on which the phosphor ring 101 is not formed, and a support flange 106 is provided at one end thereof and the other end thereof. And a rotation shaft 109 that penetrates through the motor 100. A synchronization marker 10 is provided at a predetermined position on the peripheral surface of the rotor 107 of the motor 100.
