abstract The outer tube of a cylindrical secondary battery according to the prior art has a problem of losing its original insulation function and appearance protection function when exposed to ultraviolet rays (UV) for a long time. The present invention relates to a cylindrical battery cell in which an outer surface of a cylindrical case excluding electrode terminal portions is wrapped with a heat-shrinkable tube, and the heat-shrinkable tube is a polyester resin having heat-shrinkability. The nylon resin or polyester resin polymer chain is cut by the ultraviolet ray irradiated to the tube base material, heat shrinkable tube tensile strength and operating temperature, and heat shrinkable tube. A cylindrical battery cell comprising an ultraviolet stabilizer that suppresses a chain reaction of free radicals generated in this manner is provided.
