The present disclosure relates to an implantable encapsulation device for housing a biological portion, or a treatment device containing a biological portion. Specifically, aspects of the present disclosure include a distal end, a proximal end, a manifold including at least one access port disposed at the distal end or the proximal end, and at least one attached to the manifold. An implantable device including a plurality of containment tubes in fluid communication with an access port. In addition, the encapsulation device may contain a flush port and a tube fluidly connected to the manifold. The containment tube may contain a biological part (eg, a cell) or a treatment device (eg, a cell containment member). [Selection] Figure 14A |
