A flexible thermoplastic elastomer having a phase change material exhibiting high latent heat of fusion. This compound provides elasticity, flexibility, moldability, and heat over a long period of time, and promotes long-term skin contact at elevated temperatures. When used in combination with an active ingredient, increased temperature and moldability provide improved transdermal delivery through the skin. Thermoplastic elastomers are thermoplastic by mixing with plasticizing oils, triblock copolymers, paraffinic materials and one or more additives such as antioxidants, antibacterial agents, and / or other additives. Elastomers can be produced and a mixture that is melted and then cooled is formed into a thermoplastic elastomer. During cooling, the thermoplastic elastomer is used in prosthetic liners, prosthetic sleeves, external breast implants, masks, wound dressing sheets, wound dressing pads, socks, gloves, ankle pads, metatarsal pads, insoles, It can be molded into any number of articles, including ureteral catheters, vascular catheters, and balloons for both vascular as well as ureteral medical catheters.
