Improved capsulotomy device performance |
abstract |
The present disclosure provides a capsulotomy device having a unique insertion sleeve configuration that includes a chamfer and two notches at the distal end of the insertion sleeve. The unique configuration ensures that the capsulotomy loop, including the heating element, is minimal and predictable for movement during deployment from and insertion into the insertion sleeve. |
