titleOfInvention | Anti-tamper connector for enteral feeding device and enteral feeding system |
abstract | An in-line connector for use in an enteral nutrition system includes a first component connectable to a first nutrient supply device of the nutrient supply system and a second configuration connectable to a second nutrient supply device of the nutrient supply system. And a tamper-proof single-use connector. An openable locking mechanism is provided so that the first component and the second component do not rotate when connected. The connector further includes one or more movable prongs disposed substantially coplanar with the inner wall of the second component when the first component and the second component are connected, the movable prong open. Does not interfere with possible locking mechanism. On the other hand, the one or more movable prongs are displaced away from the inner wall when the first component is removed from the second component, i.e. separated, and the second component is reinserted or re-inserted into the first component. Go against the installation. [Selection] Figure 2B |
