The object of the present invention is to improve the catalyst performance and durability, and to obtain excellent current density and power density even with the use of a relatively small amount of catalyst through increasing catalyst utilization and uniform dispersion of the catalyst. Therefore, it is an object of the present invention to provide an electrode that can reduce the amount and cost of the catalyst and that has improved performance under general conditions and low humidification performance. The present invention relates to an electrode containing an organofunctional metal oxide, a method for producing the same, a membrane-electrode assembly including the same, and a fuel cell including the membrane-electrode assembly, and a carrier and catalyst particles supported on the carrier. And an organofunctional metal oxide nanoparticle supported on the carrier, and an ionomer located on the surface of the carrier. |
