The present invention relates to a method for the detection of an analyte in a sample by electrochemiluminescence using a novel reagent composition. Disclosed are novel reagent compositions, reagent kits for measuring electrochemiluminescence (ECL), and electrochemiluminescence detection methods using the novel reagent compositions. In particular, the invention relates to the use of the novel combination of compounds that can be used in said measurement to provide improved assay performance. |
