titleOfInvention Process for producing dianhydrohexitol crystals using the evaporation crystallization process of the first crystallization mother liquor
abstract The present invention is a process for producing 1,4: 3,6-dianhydrohexitol crystals by preparing a solution of at least one hexitol and an internally dehydrated product and distilling and crystallizing the solution. The process is characterized in that the crystallization mother liquor is subjected to an evaporative crystallization process. Unlike prior art processes which seek to recycle the crystallization mother liquor, evaporative crystallization consists of at least one concentration step followed by at least one step of purification by distillation, chromatography or crystallization. Replace a series of processes economically and efficiently.
