abstract | The present invention relates to pyrotechnic compositions and primer charges made from components that comply with REACh (chemical registration, evaluation, approval and restriction) that are safe for humans and the environment. The delayed action composition comprises at least one oxidizing agent, at least one reducing agent, at least one filler, and at least one mineral binder. The performance parameters, particularly the combustion time, can be variably set within a wide range. The composition itself becomes a clinker, preventing fire extinguishing in front of the combustion material even in dynamic conditions. The primer charge includes at least one oxidizing agent, at least one reducing agent, at least one filler, and at least one mineral binder. It ignites easily and because of its clinker structure, it fully transfers its energy to the composition to be ignited. The delayed action composition and the primer charge have the same structure, and they can be easily combined and matched to each other in the delayed unit. However, the composition and charge can also be used separately. The use of primer charge is not limited to delayed units. |
