titleOfInvention | Composition for treatment of keratin substrate containing polycarbodiimide |
abstract | Polycarbodiimides and derivatives thereof, carboxylic acid compounds selected from fatty acids, their salts, and mixtures thereof, and polycarboxylic acid compounds other than those selected from fatty acids, their salts, and mixtures thereof, and positive A composition for enhancing the quality of a keratin substrate, comprising at least one additional active substance selected from one or more of ionic polymers. The present invention relates to the treatment of keratin materials, in particular cosmetic treatments and processes for hair care and hair styling, the composition comprising polycarbodiimide and at least one additional active substance, keratin including hair fibers. It may be included in an amount sufficient to render it hydrophobic upon application to the substrate. The present invention particularly relates to a hair treatment composition and process for durable non-permanent shaping and enhancement of hair curl, retention of shaping under humidity, and curling resistance.
