abstract There continues to be a need for new methods for diagnosing various types of cancer. Therefore, it is an object of the present invention to provide methods that can be used for cancer diagnosis and evaluation, as well as kits and reagents useful in such methods. A method for diagnosing cancer, a diagnostic kit, and a composition useful for measuring NK cell activity are provided. Cancer morbidity can be diagnosed by monitoring in vivo immune system changes through measurement of NK cell activity in the blood. Thus, cancer incidence can be easily predicted using a blood sample from a subject, as described herein. [Selection] Figure 6
