A method for producing a porous body of a water-soluble polymer disclosed herein comprises a water-soluble polymer, water, and a dispersoid, wherein the water-soluble molecule is dissolved, and the dispersoid is A step of preparing a dispersed emulsion, and a step of vaporizing and removing water and the dispersoid from the emulsion.
