abstract | The present invention relates to an image forming method excellent in low-temperature fixability, hot offset resistance, and durability, and a resin used in the method. [1] An alcohol component containing 30 mol% to 80 mol% of bisphenol A ethylene oxide adduct and 20 mol% to 70 mol% of 1,4-butanediol and an aromatic dicarboxylic acid. A step of forming an unfixed toner image on a print medium with a toner containing an amorphous polyester resin (A) that is a polycondensate with a carboxylic acid component, and fixing the unfixed toner image by applying heat. An image forming method comprising: a fixing step; and [2] an alcohol component containing 30 mol% to 80 mol% of bisphenol A ethylene oxide adduct and 20 mol% to 70 mol% of 1,4-butanediol.
