abstract | A novel composition for suppressing inflammation is provided. According to the present invention, there is provided a composition for suppressing inflammation caused by autoinflammatory syndrome, which comprises Lactobacillus paracasei cells and / or a processed product thereof as an active ingredient. Examples of the inflammation to be suppressed include inflammation induced by crystals precipitated in vivo and inflammation caused by inflammasome activation. The composition of the present invention can be ingested by a subject suffering from crystal deposition arthropathy or a subject at risk of developing crystal deposition arthropathy.
