Stripping fluid composition |
abstract |
Disclosed herein are a release fluid, a fusing member, and an image forming apparatus. The release fluid is a blend of amino functional silicone fluid and non-functional silicone fluid. The amount of aminofunctional silicone fluid is from about 10 percent to about 90 percent by weight of the release fluid. The amount of non-functional silicone fluid is from about 10 weight percent to about 90 weight percent of the release fluid. The amount of silanol (Si—OH) is less than 200 ppm in the release fluid. Use of a release fluid having a low level of free silanol significantly improves the life of the fuser roll. If the service life of the fuser roll is improved, it will lead to significant cost reduction. [Selection] Figure 1 |
